would someone look under there mustang and see if there is a cover over the box that houses the parking brake cable split. it is just behind the exhaust "H" pipe.
had my car at the dealer to replace the gas tank and it looks like they broke the cover off,would not have seen it but they did not tighten the muffler and when I got
home it was just hanging there.

 

I can't look under mine, but when I replaced my H pipe I seem to remember seeing an exposed split in the cable (no box) Again, from memory so I could be wrong
