Default Rotrex Supercharger

Has anybody heard of the Rotrex supercharger coming out for mustangs? I read about it the other day in one of the mustang magazines and never heard of them before.

Apparently they're more compact and are for those people that are looking for increase of 75-100 hp in lieu of the saleen's, Roush's, etc. which get you way more hp.

I've heard that the magic number of HP to add good power and not sacrifice durability or longevity to the drivetrain is 400hp.

Any info would help.

Roush and Saleen are both talking about 400ish REAR WHEEL HP. That is a bit more than 75 extra ponies....

I read about this also ( www.w2wpowertrain.com ) and while they don't have a Mustang solution yet, it sounds like one might be coming. They are small, stackable, and they come in different boost sizes...it seems like with the right configuration you can get more hp than the stock motor can even handle...

Is that the new Rotrex Supercharger with a step up (small 2 gear module), which enables the charger to gear up in rpm?

Looks like they've got the two speed SC kit done. Now for the pricing.

I wonder what the price will be? I think there's a lot of money to be made if someone could put together a supercharger/turbo kit that retails for $2500. I would buy it even if it's limited to 400hp.

I have not seen one in person, but I know there are some Harleys and RiceRockets running around with this Rotex Supercharger. Supposedly it is a quality unit and is well suited to motorcycle engines.
