For those who think the PINKS TV show is fake...

yeah maybe a nicer car.lol they said that car was built in 4 days. i don't think it was a fair match-up. that car justin was driving was way nicer and more expensive than the jethro-stang. seems like pinks would match values up a little better. "christine" is probably an 8second $30K+car vs. what?

That's why there's lengths. In order to watch identical cars race you can wait for IHRA/NHRA coverage. 
Is there any reason the cop was there? Did Brian report it stolen after the race?

Although fun to watch, I don't like the whole legnths thing. The point of drag racing street cars is to see who's is the best badass car, not who can comensate the most for having a wussier vehicle.
The one episode I enjoyed the most, can't remember the cars though, the one guy refused to accept legnths, even though he was sure to lose, on the basis that they were there to race the cars straight.

Tik_Tok: I'm with you on this....I saw the same episode. The numb nut guy who is on that show was busting the guy for not taken lengths. I'm like WTF. Lengths? That guy was old school. Kind like me......except I'm just old.

I know that the contestants on pinks sign their car over to the show before the race but I heard that they are also rewarded for a sum of monies if they loose(ha ha)the race. So they do not walk away empty handed.
