Anyone install the 62mm Throttle body..
Mustang Tuning is selling a BBK 62 MM Thottle body for $249 and claims 10-15 h.p. anyone install one yet? I am also looking to get rid of my stock wheels and tires that have 3000 miles on them, I am in Michigan and will take cash or I will trade for something of value, I hate to ship them but will if I have to. Make an offer I see them selling on Ebay for about $650 but I would take $500 if I don't have to ship them..

Check out this thread - https://mustangforums.com/m_833261/tm.htm The Spanish Oak doesn't react well, but if you have an awesome tuner, they can make it worthwhile. Expect issues.

Keith Craft in Plano, TX. They got the parts and installed them for me as a package.
I just looked at the part number and found out it isn't from Granatelli, but from Joe Blow Racing

part number is jbr-0506m62

RE: Anyone install the 62mm Throttle body..
I have been pretty fortunate with my but have talked to a lot of people that have had idle problems, Limp Mode issues, A/F problems etc. Mine was acting odd with a lot of idle fluxuations before the custom tune. On the first dyno pull it went into limp and they had to do a lot of tweaking to get it to stay out of limp. My tuner dealt directly with Diablo and the T/B manufacturer to get a tune to compliment the T/B and make it actually be a benefit. I still have slight idle fluxutions but they are barely noticable. If the car idles for several minutes without the throttle being cracked it will jump to 1500 or so rpms and stay there (at idle) the first time you hit the gas because the computer readings freak over all the extra airflow. All you have to do is shut off and restart and back to normal. I just be certain to bump the gas if it is idling for an extended period of time. It really does take a great tuner to get them right. 757GT ended up taking his off because they could not get it right.
