hood shaking
i dont know what the heck happened but i never had this problem before. i dont know if its because my car is sitting lower and stiffer now due to new suspension mods or what but definitely starts to vibrate @ 75mph
i searched and searched for past threads but i think something is up with the search function on this forum.
any fixes that all of you know of?

Did a weight get knocked off one of the tiers? You may want the tires balanced again. If the weight is off a little bit it wouldn't show up at lower speeds (if it was off a lot it would)
Hey M my hood also vibrates and feels like its gonna blow of when i am really speeding when i am doing 240 killometers an hour it shakes alot. I complained to ford and they said that this is normal its when your doing axcessive speeds.
this has been dicussed many times before and it's totally normal. Mine generally starts shaking at or about 80 miles per hour or more. I have even thought of getting hood latches.

Did you take the car in for a wheel alignment after you changed the suspension? If not, that's probably the best place to start.

and like i said i never had this problem before with plenty of high speed runs so i was wondering if the new profile of the car was putting in a more turbulent air flow?
i may just try adjusting the latch and see what happens
There are four rubber threaded stops along the front support base for the underside front of the hood. I hadn't even been on the highway yet but I was improving the overall alignment of my hood and I found that I had to raise these up some to make contact with the underside on the hood, when it is latched down tight. I would definitely check these, if they do not put modest pressure on the under side of the hood it will likely vibrate at higher speeds.
I can't see how being lower to the ground has any measurable affect on your hood; you are really plowing through the same air at 28" off the ground or 34". (guessing on these numbers)
