OK, I'm sick of it.

The original speaker grilles in the 05-09 stangs are just awful, and all the aftermarket solutions I've seen for some reason ACCENTUATE the awful. They all look like they came right off the shelf at K-mart. The 2010 interior though, has very tasteful grilles. Anyone know if they will swap into an earlier car? I've got the Shaker 500 system.

I'm also assuming that the Dove grey color on the current vintage matches the older ones.

If I get totally desperate, I'd be looking at whole door skins...

anybody know? Is there a Ford parts guy in the house?

I don't know how strong the after market covers are, but I may be joining you guys soon enough. I don't like the look either, but I leave it alone since I keep kicking them every time I get in and out. I'm a tall dude and have trouble getting in and out without banging them. One day I'm sure I'll break them. If the 2010's don't match up in the color, you could always spray them with some Dulicolor to match your interior.
