If I get a 2011 or 2012, I'm doing this for sure. It looks ok black, but painted is better.

 

Looks great man! That's one thing I like about the grille that came on my V6, that it was painted around the edges. And, of course, I did some painting to it myself

 

This is off-topic, but do you have any pics of your woodgrain dash kit? Sounds cool. Hows the 4.10s?

Interesting decision. I really like the look and choice. It would seem like this would take yet another visual distinction away from the GT. Essentially the Black Chrome Pony and dual fogs will be the remaining elements to say "I'm a GT". Both the V6 and the GT500 have this portion painted. Looking forward to see it on the car.

Very different interior choices there guys. I must say, I really like the little alien dude, and the comfy cushion with tassels.
