Default 2010 GT HID Kit

Hey guys,

I was interested in installing a bi xenon HID kit in my 2010 GT. Does anyone have any suggestions for a place to buy a quality kit, that works with the 2010 GT without any glitches. I have heard certain kits are of higher quality etc... Any one with experience?

I'm doing TL projectors in mine... the output is so much better than drop ins and it won't blind anyone. The downside is the price.

If you're referring to iDance's mention of TL projectors, this would be a full retrofit requiring you to severely modify your existing headlight enclosures. More than likely you'd want to buy a pair of enclosures from Ford or eBay and then sell (or keep) your OEM ones when finished. Definitely not cheap, and requires a lot of work, but it'll have a good cut off. I don't think anyone has done this on a 2010+ yet.

I will probably be the first. My shrouds (projector surround rings) are being painted body color as we speak, then I'm shipping my headlights out to be retrofitted (by a pro installer in Canada).

Normal cost is around $900 including installation and painted shrouds.

all HID kits are the same brightness (unless you get a different wattage) Its just the quality of the kit that matters with brands.
