Here's a teaser shot of the silver flames I had painted on my 2010. I ripped the stripes off and went a completely different route. I was in Thailand for work so I dropped her off at a shop and had them work on it while I was gone. I only have indoor pics right now and they do the job no justice. Once I get some daylight shots I'll post more. I had them rip the stripes off, paint the flames on, repaint my side skirts, rear bumper, front grille (had to get a new grille), fog light housing, rear decklid panel, rear decklid panel logo..... A complete change. I had them use the same color silver they painted the flames with so everything would match. Here's a teaser shot:

 

Im liking this direction better then the previous. What made you decide to just change everything?

 

Thanks man.... Well, I did like what I had going on before, but I wanted something truly unique. I've always liked flames on cars, but ONLY if done the right way. I've never liked them too flashy either. Given the somewhat "retro" look of the newer Mustangs I thought flames would be a good way to give it a kind of old school muscle car look. It was risky though! I'm glad it turned out looking good. Now I'm just praying for some sunlight so I can get some good pictures of how sweet this paint job looks.
