Default Caliper covers ?

I'm thinking about installing caliper covers on my White 2010 GT. (stock wheels)
I'm torn between using Red or Black ! Looking for suggestions, Thanks !

I saw where someone posted pics of those in another thread. I thought they looked cool but some other peeps were dissin' 'em hard. (My attempt at urban slang).

I'd probably go with black.

why not just paint them instead? IMO the covers are just too expensive and you can achieve the same look for less than $20 as opposed to $175+

On a white car I would go red whether it be paint or the covers

Please, if you want different color calipers, just paint them.

Caliper covers are like putting a Brembo decal over non Brembo calipers.

Wait, what if you got the covers that say Mustang on them and then got a brembo sticker to cover it up with. That's what I'm talkin' 'bout!

I agree, just paint your calipers.

Definitely paint the calipers. Caliper covers are one of those things that should be sold only in a JC whitney catalog, right next to the conversion van boomerang tv antenna, haha.

I had the MGP covers on my 05 and i plan to put them on the 10 too. The reason for me isn't trying to make the car look like it has something on it that it doesn't. I just don't like the way the calipers look even when they are painted. People around here hate the covers, but over the year my 05 had them on the car i got nothing but complements and they reduced brake dust on the wheels too.

I say get them. I noticed on the MGP site today they will do custom colors too. I'm thinking about black wheels on my grabber blue GT with grabber blue covers and black lettering. They are expensive, but there is no way you can mess these up, painting is another story. And the covers take about 20 minutes to install. I really like the new ones with the GT logo on back and mustang on the front. And if you go custom color at MGP, you can have anything you want engraved on them, which is cool.

When it comes to my car, I just post pics of what I have done. I don't ask for opinions because in the end it's what I want that matters. I like the covers better than painting because as was already noted, i don't like the way they look painted. I'm putting on a set of GT500 Brembo take-offs, but if I wasn't I would either go stock or covers.
