On another note, I meet a USAF vet yesterday while I was waiting at the MB dealer. He was in the same time I was 1974 - 1978. A real nice conversation about the "old" days. Have a good one
Like it too. Question for you: Where did you get your rear blackout panel? I found this one at partscheap.com. It says it "includes GT badge". Doesn't this fit right over the existing badge though?
Back end looks great. People just hate on it because anytime something is new and it's unique, it takes a while for it to grow on them. Back end on these cars is tight......cut.........and fits the body perfectly.

No sir, you have to remove the OEM trunk emblem. The one on the Decklid panel has the emblem molded into it.

You can get it at any Ford dealer. It's a Ford OEM part.
10stang...Do you have any decent audio in there? If so, does that plate rattle pretty bad? I am thinking of getting one, different style, but unsure if it'll just be a waste of cash. If I can't stop it from rattling/buzzing, it won't stay on for long lol.
