Default Fog Light Bulbs

I have the HID headlights and stock fogs. If I want the fog light color to approximately match the HIDs (without actually converting the fogs to HIDs), any suggestions?

If you can find out the temperature of your headlights (in Kelvin) you SHOULD be able to match the fogs with a similiar temperature halogen bulb. But if you need FUNCTIONAL fog lights, try to stick with bulbs in the 2500K-3000K range (in the yellow range of the spectrum).

Thanks. Not worried about functional color, only looks.

Anyone know what the temp of our HIDs is?

Thanks. Anyone use a particular brand that they felt matched the stock HIDs nicely? I'm reading good things about HOEN Xenonmatch, but would hate to order them and not get what I'm looking for.

I believe that the Sylvania Silverstar Ultras are 4300K but I'm not sure if they make it in an H10/9145. I'm at work so I'm not about to google it.

So, you can check the mustang forums from work and not google?

Don't sweat it, Nuke. 4300k H10 -- that's more info than I had before starting this thread. Unless someone else has personal experience with one brand or another that matched particularly well . . .

I have been trying to find something similar. It's tough because the projectors will throw a different color than a standard reflector beam light.
