Street Scene Roof Spoiler
#23
I went ahead and narrowed the spoiler today. Took about an hour, and I took off about 12mm. Next is to order the 44" waterproof LED bar, fit it, figure out how to wire it, then ship the spoiler off to paint.
Edit: I am concerned the ~1amp draw of the massive LED bar will slow down the sequence of the sequential tail lights to the point of looking bad.
and even dirty, my car somehow looks clean...

im waiting somewhat patiently for the front end/hood of the saleen kit to come out as well. judging by your sig my car may almost turn out to be a grabber blue twin of yours.
can't wait to see how your current project turns out. if it turns out like im picturing it in my head it should be great!

Well, if it does and you're truly in love with the 3rd light you may be able to run a small capacitor in line with your brake lights (never tried myself and have no idea if it would work) but may be worth a look into if you have a draw issue with it... I see no reason why it wouldn't work.

Just run a dedicated power line from a good source that can handle the power. Then splice in a relay that will trigger the circuit with power from the original third brake light location. Your draw will then be focused to the source of your choosing (fused if you like).
