HID's Installed
#13
I bought my hid kits setup several weeks ago from RetroSolutions and finally yesterday I had a chance to install them. I gotta say I was pretty impressed with the ease of installation. It took me a while only because I was being **** about where I installed the ballasts and tucked the wire looms out of sight as much as I could. At first they didn't work but I quickly found that I had a grounding problem. I drove back from dinner last night and I couldn't believe the differents in these lights. I got the 5000K bulbs and I couldn't be happier. I recommend this mod for anybody that didn't get the HID's from the factory.

adjustment is easy. take off that black plastic shroud piece right when you pop the hood to get access to behind the lights. You will look down and see a blue circular piece on each side that a screwdriver head can go into. Turn it clockwise to point up and counter clockwise to go down.

I had the retro solutions 55w 5000k kit in my truck. It is definitely a worthwhile mod! I just ordered my mustang today with the factory hid's because I just can't live without them anymore! I might end up doing hid's in the grill driving lights on the stang actually.

I used my fogs for the first time the other night and got flashed twice. I do not have HID's at all. People seem to think that the fogs are the highbeams because of the proximity to the headlights. HID's and the fogs will have a tendency to get you "flashed" more often IMO.
