anyone changed out the ugly orange and red side markers?

On my last car, I had put the clear in which looked great, then I found them painted to match and they looked even better.

Just wondering as those didn't light up, they were only refelctors. If you guys have changed to either of these can we see some pics?

I just put clears in my kona blue and I think they look great. I also can't post pics. I think 50 posts and then you can post pics.

 

I had all of my lenses painted/tinted, with the exception of the headlight and fog light lenses. Looks much better now.

 

I painted the rear red 1's the same way discodave did his taillights, I ordered a set of the fronts that are smoked with the amber bulbs.

 

what did u guys use to paint the rear lights?

what do you do about the bulb/light? just cover it or unplug the bulb?

on my m3 there was a place that made them and painted with bmw paint so they matched perfectly and I didn't have tomess with painting lol.

Mine were done with black base coat thinned out with with clear than shot with a coat of clear.. Im pretty sure you can get the same result with Nightshades though I've never used it

 

hey what kind rims are on your car? and whats the wheel size
my car is black too and i think i wana have some wider tires especially in the back
your car looks great

 

They are Foose rims. The rears are 20x10 and fronts are 20x8.5. Thanks..
