Wow! $30? Is it really that much of a hassle that you need an antenna that's about what... 6 inches shorter than stock???
I'm just wondering how you get a car cover on now? Do you do the mirror first or the antenna first?

Yeah, I don't listen to the radio either. I don't mind the antenna on the 2010+ though (kind of a style accessory) or even the 2005-2009 if a shorty antenna is installed.
What I really dislike is the 'trunk turd' they put on the satellite equipped cars. I had some damage to the rear of my car and had to replace the trunk lid...at which time I took the opportunity to get one without the satellite antenna hole. FWIW, you can put the antenna behind the back seats completely hidden and it seems to work fine without it being on the trunk. Ford could have done a much better job placing it...or at least given us just ONE antenna instead of multiple ones.

Yup the BBR is awesome. It's a subtle, yet noticeable change. Best $30 mod next to the rear light tint.
