Headrests
I guess I'm weird, but I like my headrests. I drive quite a ways home from work, and I like resting my head back on it. I also prefer to drive in a nearly upright position. I don't feel like I can see good or have correct control of the car with it in much of a reclining position.
Thanks for all the suggestions and I'm happy for all of you who have no problems, but to reiterate the question: are there any aftermarket options for adjustable tilt headrests? I've tried pulling up the headrest and it just hits the top of my head instead of the back, and if I wanted to lay down I'd go to bed.
FWIW, I've seen them called jet fighter seats, obviously by people who have never sat in the cockpit of a jet fighter. Only F-16 pilots lay down on the job.

I don't think you will find too many aftermarket companies wanting to dabble with changing the design of a part that might shackle them to possible liabilities in an accident. You could do as someone had mentioned about bending them. Find the height you want, vice them down and maybe heat them if necessary and bend a little at a time till you get what you want.
OK, here we go...is there a great deal of difference in the seats from 2007 to 2011? Is there any reason why the adjustable headrests from TMI would not work?

I solved the problem tonight. Just turn them around backwards. They look wierd but they are very comfortable now and if some girl talking on her cell phone rams me in the back bumper, I think they will still keep my head from snapping back excessively. Eight
I'm glad you are OK but that is not the point. I'm not taking them out, I'm not turning them around, I want to replace them with something that works as well and is more comfortable for me. All I wanted to know is if the 05-09 headrests will fit the '11 so I will know for sure if the tilting headrests will fit, but no one seems to know.
I've ordered the tilting headrests even though they may not work, I'll see if they fit and I'll let everyone know. That way the next poor n00b won't have to go through a whole lot of threads asking the same question and getting nothing but "I love the headrests and would never change them!" answers.

If you don't like the way they look....or if they aren't comfortable it's your car! Go for it!! Replace them!!!.
FWIW, I HAD the other headrests in my 2008 and didn't find them any more comfortable....but that's my opinion based on personal experience and you apparently are just interested in facts regarding interchangability (which I highly doubt any of us have...not many have swapped out headrests).
Good luck and let us know how it works out!
