20 inch rims
I've had no issues w/the Proxes. Great rain tire IMPO (recent trip w/monsoon rain for days w/no issues). Only issue I have w/the 20's - gonna be a problem on a trip way out of town and you get a flat. I doubt most places are going to carry a 295/35/20. Thought of just getting a front and back tire and just putting them in the trunk (I don't think they will both fit - just the tires). You would be amazed at the positive comments from strangers on a daily basis just since adding the wheels/tires. Everyones got their own taste when it comes to rims - get what you like the best cause that's all that matters anyways. Thanks to everyone for their comments about the car - much appreciated!
Stock wheels and tires 255/45-18, tire and wheel 56lbs
Steeda front 9.5" wide 275/35-20, tire and wheel 61lbs, +5lbs more than stock
Steeda rear 11" wide 315/35-20, tire and wheel 69.5lbs, +13.5lbs more than stock

No rubbing except when at full lock at slow speeds such as pulling in or out of a tight parking space only in the front right it sounds like.
If I keep the car long enough*I'm really thinking about getting a sterling grey perf pack 3.7* to replace the tires I will be switching to either 255/40/20 or 275/40/20*i've seen another lowered s197 mustang run that width tire on a 8.5" rim and it looks good imo

Actually the wheels Wiking have are lighter than the stock 17 and 18" wheels. The 20x8.5 Godspeed wheels are 24.5 pounds each. And going with a lower profile tire on the 05+ cars not only help the looks but also really increase the handling ability. There are some heavy wheels out there but a larger wheel doesn't always mean more weight.
