looks good. You would be hard pressed to tell the difference between the factory piece and that one. I wouldn't call it fake though. Your gurney flap is doing the same job as the ford piece. It is an actually useful design feature. Here is some history on it.

The Apache helicopter actually has gurney flaps on the horizontal stabilator. The blueprints even call it a gurney flap

yep! mine for some reason didnt come with the studs, but it had threaded inserts. so i just found some bolts and used them with some washers to hold it down. and the 3m tape goes exactly where the adhesive was on the stock spoiler. fits perfect.

Ok i am confused, is yours painted black because you bought a black spoiler? Id the gurney painted a different color than the black of the rest of teh 3D500 spoiler? Someone else said to get teh flap black if you ordered sa grabber blue they had to paint the spoiler black, then blue, and charge you extra. I just want to understand what you are getting here.

how did you get it for 244 shipped? the website says like 270 shipped for me

 

the flap is painted a satin black like the rear valance, front lip, side skirts, etc. and the rest of the spoiler is painted gloss black.
