GT500 spoiler

11BLK5.0 and ICEGUY, I saw the CJ Pony but the pic in their ads doesn't show the Gurny being black or unpainted, t looks like its the same color, did both your GT500 spoilers come with the flap unpainted? That's the one thing that made me hesitate buying it...

Well i just got my Gt500 spoiler from cj pony. same place i believe iceguyb14 get his.

and i must say i couldnt be more pleased, it came painted. the paint job was perfect and install was simple. It uses factory holes. and fitment is great. the gurny flap flat black like the factory gt500 spoiler. After i ordered the spoiler it took 12 businesses days to be painted and shipped to me.

Haven't seen any closer pics with it not installed yet and it's been rainy here and I haven't installed it yet so here's one for anyone who'd like to see it. Sorry for the crappy pic but my camera really sucks, especially indoors. Like I said though I did have to sand/repaint the flap myself from dgcustom. CJpony would be a better option for anyone that wants the black flap.

weinerdog - yea I don't use the backup camera now. But, at some point, I'll get a real GT500 spoiler and I'll look into maybe mounting the backup camera somewhere else. Can't sell the spoiler cause it's on the car right now. If you need just a spoiler - the e-bay one is very nice, especially for the price.

I have siad a few times what they are calling the 2010 GT500 spoiler at the spoiler store is not the right spoiler its more like the 09 down. Go for the 3DCarbon 3D500 spoiler, if you order it direct painted they paint the gurney flap flast black and its nearly identical to the real thing. Only diff is the gurney flap doesnt really work and isnt removable.

CJ Pony has the painted spoiler currently on sale for $256 with free shipping. I sent them an email just to verify 100% the flap is painted black.
I emailed dgcustom and they said they do not paint the flap ... but would supply a piece of vinyl to cover the flap for $30!! Yeah right ... 50 cents worth of vinyl for $30!!!
