Default GT500 spoiler

I will express my stupidity to all. Was wanting a GT500 spoiler, and after looking at pics from alot of searching on this forum, I decided to get a GT500 painted spoiler (GT500 factory spoiler) from the spoiler store. Problem is that the spoiler I got is exactly what I already had on the car (exact copy, just no backup camera). I was thinking of a sort of Shelby like spoiler in the other pics on their site. My bad though. I'll just put on the new spoiler since it will be easier to get off down the road when I do get around to getting a REAL GT500 spoiler that I was looking for in the first place. I will also say that the product from the spoiler store was top notch all the way.

Did you order the wrong spoiler or did the spoiler store send the wrong one? The GT500 is definitely different than either the standard or Camera spoiler.

The spoiler store sent me exactly what I ordered - got it in 2 days (I'm in the same state as the dealer). I will say again that the product was flawless. Here's what I ordered -http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/PAINT...Q5fAccessories
Went ahead and put this one on since it was easier than trying to put the old one on. Side by side, it is just like my original unless I am blind and don't see something.

Pic is at a slight angle. Anyways, I think I just messed up. I at least have a spoiler on again so it's not all bad.

Wow. Is that the knockoff spoiler or oem spoiler. They look identical.

I would ask for a refund on the basis of false advertisement.

The real GT500 is QUITE different from what they are advertising as one. Look to DGCustoms for a high quality, painted 3d500 spoiler. That's where it seems everyone is getting their painted spoilers these days, and from the posts I've read, they're absolutely flawless paint jobs.

Below there is a link to an article (with side views) of the GT500 spoiler, so you can see the real difference, as well as a link to DG for pricing. It's about (ouch)$200 more than you paid for your non-GT500 spoiler, but I'm going to be buying one soon, and as far as others have told me, it is well worth the price!

Just a little warning, dgcustomauto.com does NOT paint the gurney flap black. They paint it all one color. Just got done sanding/repainting mine. But they definitely do an outstanding paint job as far as quality...

Well i just got my Gt500 spoiler from cj pony. same place i believe iceguyb14 get his.

http://www.cjponyparts.com/3d-carbon...0-2011/p/RS10/

and i must say i couldnt be more pleased, it came painted. the paint job was perfect and install was simple. It uses factory holes. and fitment is great. the gurny flap flat black like the factory gt500 spoiler. After i ordered the spoiler it took 12 businesses days to be painted and shipped to me.
