I replaced mine on a 2010 with bulbs from Superbright LEDs too but I bought different ones (12 LED 921-NW12 instead of the 9 LED ones listed above) in "natural white". The natural white is a good look...not too yellow...not too blue. I also bought matching license plate lamps in natural white (3910-NW6).

Four back up lamps and the two license lamps run just under $36 shipped.

How many bulbs will I need to replace my reverse and license lamps on a 2011? I'm guessing I need 4 reverse lights (2 per side) and 2 license lamps.

Ordered the reverse lights for mine. Decided I didn't care about the license plate lights right now - when they burn out I'll replace them. Got the reverse lights in Natural White. I'm sure they will be brighter than the incandescent bulbs in there now if they are anything like the LEDs I put on my Harley.

 

I know this is the wrong section for me..but will these same ones work for an 05-09 S197?

 

The backup lamps are the same...
good news: you only need two
bad news: you need to add a load resistor on the 05-09s to get them to work properly.

The license lights are different.

 

gotta say i added my license plate bulbs and it definitely looks better too.
