Default GT Bumper on V6

So into week 3 of ownership of my 2010 V6 Mustang. Naturally, a large raccoon ran into the road and I now have a huge crack in my bumper cover and a smashed condenser. Awesome.

My question is, since I'm going to be replacing the bumper anyway, can I replace it with a GT bumper? I just bought the California Special billet grille, and I would love to install the CS valence as well. If not, any other aftermarket bumpers to consider?

Also, is it possible to order the bumper (either a V6, GT, or entirely different bumper cover) already painted?

I'm probably not going to go through insurance through this so I'd like to keep my costs down, but if I could upgrade the bumper to something better I would feel a lot better about the whole thing.

Thanks in advance.

So sorry to hear about your car. There was a recent post of some V6 with a GT front slapped on the hood looked really bad.

You can get the Roush front for $650 with foglamps and harness or $320 without. They'll paint it for you for $210. I prefer the Roush over the GT/CS.

I would also like to know whether the GT or GT/CS front valance fits V6 if anyone knows.

Hmm... not a bad option. Will my existing fog lamps fit into the Roush? What about the grille? The V6 bumper cover goes up around the grille.

Also, where are you seeing that you can buy it painted for $210 extra? On the Roush site and everywhere else, it says +$375.00 for the painted version.

I had my V6 2011 come with the GT/CS front end when I ordered from Ford.

I just did this swap and it was very easy. I picked up a new take off bumper all ready painted to match for 200 shipped to my work . Just got to use a GT grille with the bumper .

Also, what grille are you using? That looks like the standard V6 pony package grille? Can you order a body color surround somewhere?

I got the bumper from a ford dealer listing on ebay and had it ship to a business address due to the size and how much it cost to ship it to a residential address. I used the pony package grille but it toke alot of work to get it to fit . So you might want to get a basic GT grille to make it easyer .
