Default Adding wheel controls

I have a base 2011 V6. I can do without sync, but I wouldn't mind having steering wheel controls and a nicer wheel. I have located a shelby wheel. If I buy it, is there a way I can add the radio buttons? Cruise shouldn't be a problem since my wheel already has that. I feel like this is going to seem like a half *** question and solution, but I'm curious. I will be adding an after market nav radio before any of this takes place, so I will be installing a steering wheel radio interface with it if I find that it's possible with this setup. Does anyone know where the wiring comes out of the wheel? If there is a way I can run wires from that point into where the radio sits, I think it is a viable option to add this, is it not? I'm not worried about figuring out which wire is what. I just need to know if it's possible at all. I've tried finding more information on what the wiring coming from the after market interface entails, but I can't seem to do so.

Obviuosly I've never done it..(not sure that anyone has tbh). But my first guess would be it's gotta be way more trouble than it's worth. I thought the controls on the wheel were kinda neat when I bought mine, yet I haven't actually used them once...

I would buy the Shelby wheel just for the look of the wheel and then see if you can figure out how to add wheel control to the radio.

I believe Metra sells an adapter to get the controls working on any stereo.

Edit...Here's one if you're interested OP- http://www.amazon.com/Metra-ASWC-Uni.../dp/B0039H2W66

Grant Steering wheels offers an OEM style wheel for the New Mustang. i also priced the parts from the dealer for the Titanium triple spoke inserts and switches.

Each Spoke insert is 42.15, need three. and the left swith is 65 dollars or so and the right was slightly more.

I have the base wheel and got the Grant wheel, but now I need these parts to make it look complete.
