Seat Bolsters

Seat Bolsters
I'll get right to the point:
I was cleaning the car the other day and noticed the bolsters on the driver and passenger seats were showing wrinkles. This is pretty diappointing because the car has just over 12k miles. I have the 401A which is a pretty soft leather considering, but I didn't expect this kind of wear already.
I guess the question is, is anyone else noticing excessive wear on their seats?

I have the 400A rapid spec with the stone leather. I am at 22,500 miles and the bolsters on the driver's seat back are disinegrating - I have metal poking me in the back through the side closest to the console. I took it to the Ford dealer I bought it from, they took one look at it, and ordered me the entire seat back - covered under warranty.

i'm curious about a something. How do you guys get into the car? Do you tend to scrape along the bolster or drop into the seat butt first and not touch the back. I drop into the seat and generally don't touch the back until I am in the car. i am wondering if it has something to do with lots of friction back and forth across the seats. Were you guys using anything in common to clean the seats? Dp you wear a lot of clothing that has large buttons or high friction materials? i have a pair of shorts i wore int eh summer that would always noisy scrape the seats and made me worry, but none of the other shorts i have did that. Do you keep cell phones or a knife on your side near the bolsters?
It would be great if those of you with leather issues might be able to find a few common cleaning products or reasons this might be happening. Getting your seats replaced right now is all fine and good, after the warranty is out ford rapes on leather seats if you want factory. If the damage is a cleaner/lack of cleaning/too much friction dropping in it would presumably happen again.

I wonder as well about the size of the person and the level of damage on the seats. I'm on the smaller size at 5ft 10in and 160 pounds. I bring this up as my father in law is a good 6ft 4in and 240 pounds and his car's seats tend to wear faster than mine and we are both **** with the care of our seats.
