I just bought a 2010 Mustang Premium with the Pony package and I just have one question. If I remove the ponies from the fenders will there be hole in the fenders? I know the 2005 mustang didn't leave holes but my 2009 did with the horseshoe badge, I took them after it was wrecked as a momento. I would just like to know if anyone has removed them on their 2010-11??? Thanks

 

All the fender emblems in late model Mustangs have placement pins on the back, the GT, the 5.0 and the Pony all have them. There will be a hole, actually twoholes I believe, to align the badging properly.

 

I have the Pony Package as well, and YES, you will have holes behind there if you remove the emblems.

There were no Pony Packages (or any V6 package) in 2005 ... just smooth fenders with no emblems. There were no holes in 2005 since there was never anything to remove.

Yes. He said 2005 didn't leave holes when removing emblems but 2005 never had emblems.
