Default Looking for new wheels...

Well damn it. so when I washed my car weekend before last what i thought was just bad brake dust is actually the f'ing clear coming off my Shelby redlines already and i didn't get them from an official dealer and they arent made anymore so im SOL. i have had them 6 months and took crazy good care of them. anyone know if issues with the AMR shelby line of wheels is a common thing? I'm not sure what i was thinking buying discontinued wheels anyway, once current stock is gone they are gone. i think ill get some NT05Rs on them and use them for the qtr this summer.

I am thinking about getting me a set of the 18 x 9.5 Shelby CS 69 wheels. i really like the RTR wheels, but i have no desire to buy wheels and then pony up another $1200 for tires when the nittos on my car are only 6 months old.

Any other suggestions for the car in 18" that will fit 285/40-18 rear rubber (at least 9.5" I guess) are welcome. I have poked around a bit, those CS69 and the RTR wheels are the only ones that grabbed my attention. And the RTR's are 19" so new tires would be needed. I'm partial to black centers, but I'd entertain other finishes too possibly, but I really prefer black. I got some wood off the black alcoas, but OMFG 3K with tires!

well if you like RTR's look at the TSW nurburing wheels..same exact design and you can get them in 18's and are cheaper by a little then the RTR.
or why dont you just get your current wheels powdercoated to something else..cheapest option

Have you thought about 18x10 (+40)Fr500's all the way around.....they fit...and they look sick! They aren't that heavy either
I like the wheels you have honestly, Why don't you just have them painted black with a clearcoat?

yeah tsw, i wrote that on my iphone stupid predictive spelling bit me lol

i have poked aroudn and came across this as the main palce for those TSW wheels:

http://www.wheelwarehouse.com/p-4265...-gunmetal.aspx

Honestly, i thought they were black in those pics, i only want black this time around with those being matte gunmetal i am not sure about them or the RTR wheels. I have been seriously considering these now:

http://www.cruizinconceptswholesale....EALTHBLACK40MM

they are "stealth black" which is really just matte black. with all the other matte black on the car they would look pretty good i think. I'd like to see pics of those TSW wheels in good lighting on a 10 to make up my mind, but i didn't find any pics.
