I really like the foose wheels, check out the chop from xeno, looks good. the foose wheels are less than the TSW and only about $200 more than the fr500's.

Yeah the foose rims are pretty nice, they just remind me a little to much of the 2010 premium wheels with that design. I think the fr500s would look killer on your car, it would compliment all the black you have done

Thanks for that link man, I don't like that at all. I am so glad i didn't just powder coat the entire wheel. I am not generally a fan of a solid black wheel. I like a bit more definition between the wheel and tire. My car came with the premium wheels on it and those Foose wheels really don't look anything like them to me other than being 5-star design. I think that they are what I will be getting. Plus they will clear big brakes. Since I drove that 11 5.0 with the brembo pack I have been wanting those brakes, love the pedal feel.

I thought you were going to powdercoat the wheels you have black? That is the cheapest option by far

I don't like the Foose wheels at all. The other ones are OK. 18" 2010 GT500 wheels are only like $500 / set and they look a lot better than the old GT500 wheels.

Yep and it's ok to put newer wheels on an older car but not so ok to put older wheels on a newer car. Good luck on your search.

I planned to do the centers only, but the clear is coming off the aluminum on these now and i don't like them solid black. I'm not really worried about the cheapest route, i just want something that looks good. I like the GT500 wheels for 10 cars a lot. With my 3d500 spoiler and the gt500 lower bumper i don't want to run the 10 gt500 wheels. it would look like i was trying to clone a gt500 and that's not the style i am after.

Not if it's a lightweight wheel......and it does wonders on a roadcourse having the same width all the way around.....staggered isn't the best setup for road racing....

The benefit is balance and stability, grip too.....Plus the weight difference is less than 2lbs between the 18x9 and 18x10 FR wheels last I checked.....
Let's say its 2 lbs even:Going by the rule that per every additional 10lbs of rotating mass equals 100 lbs of dead weight.... that would mean that you're only adding the equivalent of 40lbs of dead weight to the car. Most people on a daily driver won't notice this difference.....not to mention that the spare tire and backseat weigh considerably more than 40lbs when combined (two very easy things to remove for a track day).

Just my .02

The benefits far outweigh any negatives imo.
