Default Black 5.0 rolling shots with RTR's...

Aww man what a fun time. Haaln and I headed out 281 to The Salt Lick for some afternoon Texas BBQ and on the way I decided to snap some shots are we were cruizin' along. His car was so clean I can't even describe it. The only thing that topped this car was the burnt brisket, which was amazing by the way, lol.

As for the color, I would say black, but there are two very impressive things about this car. The first, is with the naked eye it seems to be invisible as all you can see are reflections of it's surroundings. The second, is when putting the car under a polarizing filter it seems to completely black out, like to the point you can't see anything. It took some tricks to get the details out, but we managed fine.

The rest of the pics

Here are just a few of my favorites.

There ya go, again, link at the top to the rest of the set. :word:

Personally I HATE the goofy tilts. Makes the car look like its going to fall off the picture and very natural. I hate when people do that or over the top HDR kinda pet peeves of mine

Yeah, me too. I grew in and out of the crooked pictures phase within like a month, lol.

SICK car though. I'm loving the second picture.

There were 2 people, 2 cars. I was in mine, he in his. It's kinda hard to drive a 6sp through the twisties at 65mph with 1 hand looking backwards. So to fix the problem, I wrapped my $2000 camera to my hand so it wouldnt fall, stuck my hand out the window semi pointed it at his car and started firing away. So for blind shots, upside down, and moving with a servo autofocus, I think they came out rather well. As for the "goofy tilts" when we were parked, my car was right next to his, there is limited space to capture the full car in the frame without tilting the camera. I was already out to 14mm.

It isn't a "phase".

Sorry then take a 3rd person to drive..and you shoot normally. If you had control where you park then no reason to just have the other car backup to shoot straight shots of the car sitting properly. I am not an armature at this stuff trying to give you a hard time.
I shoot with
Canon 1D Mark III
Sigma 150mm f2.8 DG EX Macro
Sigma 17-35 f2.8-4 DG EX HSM
Canon 24-70L f2.8
Sigma 70-200 f2.8 DG EX HSM
Canon 100-400L 4.5-5.6
Canon 580ex Flash
