Those with 20x9, +24 Offset Shelby Razors on the back of your S197---
Hey everyone, those of you with 20x9, Shelby Razors +24 offset wheels on the back of your S197s,
any of you think there's a shot in hell you could fit a +12 offset 20x9 Razor back there with a 255/35-20 tire?
In other words, do you have 12mm (.475 inches) of clearance from the face of your tire to your fender?
Question is especially relevant to those of you who are lowered...

Yes you could fit a +12mm offset 20X9" razor with 255/35/20 or wider
I ran the +24mm 20X9 razors with 265/35/20 nitto nt-555 lowered with H&R coilovers and later the roush leveling springs on my black 2010 with no issues. My current setup is 19X8.5" +15mm offset wheels with 275/35/19 yoko advans planning to lower it with the eibach pro kit and from the looks of it I should still have maybe .5" or a little less when the rear axle is centered for clearance. FWIW I also ran 20X8.5" +22mm offset cobra r replicas with 265/35/20 nitto nt-555s lowered with tein s-tech springs no clearance issues whatsoever. Below are some pics from my different setups black 2010 w/razors white 2010 w/cobra r replicas

A straight answer from someone with experience with this! thanks!
the advan setup seems to be closest to the setup I'm going to be looking to run.
You're going with prokits though.... think i'll have a lot of trouble with sportlines? I really want to stick with 255/35-20... I do not really want to run skinnier.
Edit: actually according to the tire calculator, your advan setup actually sticks out even further than what I'm talking about by 7mm!
Yes i know its not that big of a deal, but i'm wondering if it will be enough to satisfy my issues with the sportline springs vs prokits.
Pic I got from your Car-domain, so 7mm further in than even what you've shown here is what I'll be doing if I choose to go with this setup...
I'm also not apposed to rolling the fender a bit to pull it out... but I've only done that on Hondas in the past, no idea how it's gonna work on a Mustang....

LoL I'm only considering the 12's for the back beacuse Shelby Razors are completely discontinued and I cannot find the 24's to purchase anywhere.
I found one place that has (2) 24 offsets left. and another place that has several 12 offsets left... so I figured if i can make the 12's work on the back, I'd do the 24's in the front and call it a day.
Just something to look into, never made my mind up or decided for or against it... this thread though, especially with his pics, gave me a very accurate idea of what I'm going to be ending up with, and now I have to decide if i want these wheels bad enough to deal with it sticking out that much at the end of the day.
There are ways to deal with this, a little negative camber (not much, just a little) perhaps running a 245 instead of a 255 (not something I"m prepared to do) and lastly having the fenders rolled a bit (stretched to make them slightly wider) which I've seen add as much as 10mm to a fender without cracking/hurting the paint...
Again, I'm not saying all of that is remotely worth a set of Razors, instead of just finding another wheel. But I would not have ever known thats what I've gotta work with, unless I asked that question and he answered.
At the end of the day, 3.73-11, thanks for your help!
