Default A problem with ambient lighting in 2010 Mustang

Hi all,

I have a problem with ambient lighting in my 2010 Mustang. No matter how I adjust the light colors, Mustang logo in the right door step is different than the rest.

By different, I mean more yellowish. Hence, if I set the ambient lights to light blue, the logo in the right doorstep will be green, if I set the color to red, the right doorstep logo will be orange, if I set the ambient lights to white - you guessed - the logo is plain yellow.

Did anyone experience something similar? Is it a problem of the LED in the door step, or maybe something with its connection?

Cheers

This is the third time I have heard of this, 1 2010 and one 2011. Both times they took it in and the dealer replaced the right side and all was good.

I have had a problem with my ambient lighting since day one, and its with the lights under the dash. Same problem though if its set to blue its green etc. I am going to go haywire when I bring it to the dealer next and they dont fix it, cause it will be the 3rd time there to fix it.

Had this exact issue and took it to the dealer. Was fixed and has been perfect since.

Thank you all for your answers. Taking my Mustang to the dealer seems to be the solution :-)

Cheers

I just noticed the same problem with my right side door sill when exiting the car a few minutes ago, which caused me to google it. Took me here, so I guess it is a known issue. Seems I would've noticed that since getting the car in December but probably never looked at both sides at once for a comparison.

Replacing the door step logo worked for me ... like for the others :-)
