Hey guys, my 2010 Mustang didn't come with a spoiler and I was thinking of adding the GT500 spoiler soon to give it that complete look and because the GT500 spoiler is my favorite of all of them (Roush spoiler is a really close second). I recently ran into the 3DCarbon 3D500 spoiler on CJ Pony Parts, painted, and at a lower price than the unpainted Ford spoiler. I've done some research and on some stores it doesn't have the gurney flap and a few of them do. I really want the gurney flap and the picture on the CJ Pony Parts site has it. Has anyone bought this spoiler and, particularly, from this website? If so, would you say that its an exact replica of the original GT500 spoiler? from every person I have seen that get it from CJ pony they are dropped shipped painted from 3Dcarbon..and they paint the gurney flap flat black on them all..so it matches the real GT500

Cool, thanks for the response. But now my challenge will be to decide between the spoiler or a tuner.

Yup. CjPony/3dCarbon has the gurney flap.



As for spoiler vs. tuner, pretty much an aesthetic vs. performance decision. I would go with SCT tuner and BAMA tunes because it makes a huge difference. Well, that is what I did. Got tuner before spoiler.

Nice Stang! Love the white/black combo! And thanks for the pic, very helpful and completely answers my question. I'm gonna debate the tuner vs spoiler for a while. I don't have a lot of money, so money-wise, I'd go with the spoiler. But performance-wise, I only have dual exhaust which really isn't much. I'd love to have a sleeper!

I just got mine prepainted from cjponyparts. How hard are they to intsall?

hardest part is getting the old spoiler and the double sided tape off other than that its really just 4 bolts. so its super easy

Did you use fishing line and an adhesive remover?

If you are interested in a gt500 spoiler I have one in grabber blue that just needs to be re-painted, and I will let it go for cheap. It has some paint defects, so it needs to be re-painted no matter what. PM if your interested.
