Wait... you have a 2011 GT/CS and you removed the side scoops. I was under the impression that they were also bolted in place. If its just taped on I may be removing mine as well.

 

No bolts, just tape. Easy to do.

This is great ****ing news!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just got some damage on mine passenger side scoop. And I too was under the impression they were bolted and taped on. Thank god they are not. Mine will be coming off tonight! I hate those stupid fake cowls.

 

My 2009 California Special GT side scoops are being taken off in lieu of the Shelby 350 concept style side scoops this coming week. Really looking forward to it.

I have just undergone a month of hard core modifications (see my signature) and will have exhaust (only 7,000 miles) system, side scoops, factory 6 disc Shaker CD player, California Special hood with scoop, factory polished 5 spoke wheels (in picture below) with tires, etc etc if anyone is interested
