Hey guys i am fixing to pull the trigger and get the stripes laid out on my 5.0, was wondering ya'll could post some picks of what kinda stripes you have. tradional stripes, one of a kind stripes, the more choices the better.

my car is Ingot Silver so i was thinking matte black? what do you think?

 

Excellent choice.
That or grabber blue like on the GT500KR.
Or even a different shade of silver/grey.
Cutterwolf has a great example of silver with grey stripes.

His grey stripe looks BADASS on his silver stang.

 

blacksmoke - thanks man, your right cutterwolf's is pretty sick. my car is a little lighter than his more like the color of his stripes. i do like that grabber blue stripe as well. i whole thing is i do not want the stripes to clash with my wheels. i have some 20" stealth godspeeds on the way. no i am not sure how the blue would look with the black. my interior is black leather. at first i was thinking about doing like a matte grey but i checked locally and it would be like $700 for grey. i dont really know i know i want them bad i just cant really decide on a color. or a style. and here you are throwing the grabber blue option in there too .... lol j/k.. thanks for the pics..

 

If I was to get stripes, I'd get the twin narrow stripes they put on the 2010+ GT500 with the SVT package.


EDIT: Maybe that's 2011+, cant remember.

 

Given what you just stated.... I would say matte black stripes are a GREAT choice for you.

 

There's so many options out there. Makes modding so time consuming in just the planning stages! lol

 

If you have time, come up to the Mustang Week car show (Friday) or cruise in (Saturday) in Myrtle Beach. I just bought a white 12 GT and want to stripe it, most likely silver. But I am a little unsure so I am going to Myrtle to hopefully see something that inspires me. Good luck with your search.
