Default Powdercoat Stock 19" Wheels?

Anyone ever saw the stock 19" nickle wheels powdercoated black?

I just ordered the RTR exterior package and with my tinted windows I might need to powdercoat them black until I can get the RTR's...

Here are the wheels I'd like to think about powdercoating:

hmmmmmm.... If you want my honest opinion I would just leave them for now until you install everything but IMHO I dont think they will look good all black. If you want a cheaper way to make them black you can also paint them which will hold until you get the rtr's.

Btw any luck with the hid's?

I recommend plasti-diping one of your wheels. Its quick and cheap.

See how you like it. If you do, then you should powdercoat or even paint the rest.

If not, then peel off the plasti-dip and your only out $10

I somewhat agree and that is why I'd love to find a picture of them powdercoated.

I just can't stand a few things with the wheels I have now: 1. they aren't black ; 2. there is a lot of wheel gap between the fender and the wheels and with the polished lip it makes it look worse; 3. they aren't wide enough and I'd like them to stick out to the edge of the fenders.

I am sure I could lower the car and get some spacers to make this look better, what do you think? I just don't want to lower it that much (maybe 1.5" at the most). What springs would you reccommend?

Now that's a new one...I have never thought about that. Can you just buy a kit and do it yourself?

Well, I was looking into it this weekend. I am ready to order them but I truly can't find what I need (sounds stupid but I have never did anything with HIDs before). You said that 5000s would be the best. Where can I get those? Where is the best place?

O **** I forgot about plasti dip lol. Yeah just buy a can from home depot, spray your wheels and if you dont like it it just peels right off. Will give you an idea of how the rim will look all black!

and I will look into the hid kit now!

+1 for Plasti-Dip. I sprayed my Pony Package grille like three weeks ago. Holding up ok, and if I get bored with it, I'll just peel it off.

I have been reading up on the plastidip today...the stuff looks like it might be a great idea to try out.

The only thing I can't seem to answer is if it messes up any of the factory clear-coating on the wheels when you peel it off. Does anyone know the answer to that question?

Thanks!

Any updates on that yet? I haven't been able to really figure out how to make my fog lights into HIDs with 5000s...
