That's kinda what I was thinking. I know I've seen a million aftermarket hoods without pins, too. It's going to be professionally installed anyway, so I guess I don't have anything to worry about. Thanks!

I went with LMPerformance ram air sport hood. The scoup is more suttle.



I didn't care for the stick on hood scoup that came with my car.

Best hood for our cars HANDS down is the saleen... Too bad is expensive as ****. I really want an aftermarket look alike

??? Already posted..VIS basically makes a direct copy of it. You can get them on ebay for like 750 shipped for carbon and 650 for fiberglass

Fitment on the ViS is good and I am using Quick-latch mini hood pins and painting them so they will hard to see. like they arent even there ..........hopefully.

I went with the Cervinis C500 Ram Air Hood. You can pick one of those up for about 600 bucks and it fits like a glove.

So the hood came in last week and the shop is putting it on now and they tell me there aren't cutouts for the wiper fluid nozzles. Also, they tell me it didn't come with a "Reinforced Metal Latch & Hinge Plate". WTF?

there shouldnt be holes in the hood for the washers..they are under the hood in the cowl part. I dont know why they are looking for holes.

****, you're right. I have no idea what they're talking about then.

EDIT: Just talked to him again and he said there are little square cutouts on the factory hood that they mount to, but they're underneath or some ****. I obviously don't have my car so I have no idea what he's talking about.
