Post your tint!

This is all very helpful. I definitely want it to be legal. NY state law says:
Windshield -- Non-reflective tint is allowed on the top 6 inches of the windshield.
Front Side Windows -- Must allow more than 70% of light in.
Back Side Windows -- Must allow more than 70% of light in.
Rear Window -- Any darkness can be used.
If I understand this correctly, this means the max I can go legal on the front and back is 30%? Or is it 70%? I'm confused as to how it is measured.
20% looks great on all of your cars. Entrenched, I sweat your ride...
Thanks for the visor pic and feedback as well, I'm thinking I'll go with it. Would love to see more pics.

tint is measured by how much light is able to pass through it. when someone says they have 20% tint it means that only 20% of the light is actually passing through the glass. so legal being 70% means that 70% of the light must pass through the glass.
I dont think they even make a 70% tint cuz it would be like not even having tint...
I'd recommend not even tinting if your gonna stay legal cuz your gonna look at it after and be like "I cant tell the difference"
ohio is 50% and i've had tint for bout a year now with no cop trouble at all, most cops dont really have a problem with it unless its like 5% limo tint
mine is 30 sides / 15 quarter and back
honestly wished i'd gone a little darker on the sides ( probably 20 )

Yea... well the way I see it, if the cop is looking to ticket for tint, he's gonna nail me whether it's 20% or 35%. Both are obviously darker than the legal limit. I'm thinking I'll go 20% all around and deal with whatever fines come my way.

I did 20% all the way around with the windshield strip but I live in FL where they don't give a **** about anything lol. I had it on my last 2 cars down here. Got pulled over once on the way home after getting off duty but as soon as he saw my badge and second chance vest, he just tipped his hat and sent me on my way
