Default Faux cap mod (without removal)

Broke out the plasti-dip and went to town on my badges and faux cap. Really happy with how it turned out, looks like factory and only cost 6 bucks!
Sorry bout the links, I can't post to this site for some reason.

Great job. i'm def. a fan of what you did to your faux cap, i haven't seen anyone else leave the chrome ring. love the black emblems and rims btw but i'm a little biased ...lol

Looks great. There was another guy on here, I believe it was boss hoss, who just did the same thing. Since I am putting my stock rims on for the winter, I think I am going to plasti dip them this way I still have black wheels.

Nice work. That's what I love about this forum - I learn something new all the time. :-)

Good ole' plasti dip, looks good!

Did you plasti dip your wheels too? I'd like to see some close ups of the wheels if you have any, thanks.

I sanded and painted them with semi-gloss black. I will throw a close up on here tomorrow though.

Im sorry but I am new to plati-dip never heard of it or seen of it until now. So I googled it and it see it forms a rubber coating and it comes in liquid to actually dip it, n spray. I love how the outside ring matches the inside black around the GT. But now my question is how did you do this? Your thread title says without removal so Im wondering how did u do this without removing it?
