gt emblem??

Default gt emblem??

have 2010 ... how does the GT fr fender emblem come off? is it gluded on? if so can I take fish line and remove? or is there a simpler way to remove.
thanks for the input.........

It's taped on. Fishing line.

If you're painting them black, consider plasti-dip. Similar results, and you can spray them on the car.

Are you sure it is only body tape holding it? I though that there were two aligning pins as well. If so you will have two holes in your fenders if your plan is to simply remove and not have anything on there.

Definitely has two pins and holes in the fenders for alignment. Good old 3M tape holds them in place. Heat and fishing line will remove, but the holes will be there.

And as said before, if you want to paint them you can leave them on and with plasti dip you just tape of a square around the emblem and fill in the ENTIRE square with an even coat as well as the emblem. Since the emblem is not flush against the body the plasti dip will peel of around the emblem, just be sure to take your time. And you can use a tooth pick for the details. The better coats you put on, the easier it is to peel off.
