I am up in the air with lowering. I wanted to go the cheap route with springs only, but the guys here told me not to. I just hate to spend over $1000 just for lowering. Cheap Bastard!!!!
I couldn't lower due to my driveway angle in SC, but I didn't want the 4x4 look that many get with new wheels/tires. So I have 18x9s with 255/45/18s in the front and 19x10s with 275/40/19s in the back (stock springs).
My front tires have a 27" diameter while my rear tires have a 27.7" diameter and helps fill the rear wheel well gap without lowering (see sig). This is a similar setup to the OEM Performance Package on the 2011 GT500 where it has 19" wheels in the front with 20" wheels in the rear. That package uses 265/40/19s up front and 285/35/20s out back.
