2013 Rear Tail Lights?
#101
Well, I just saw a brand new 2013 Mustang GT, and it braked a good deal ahead of me, then signaled and turned left. Seeing it from behind now from a distance in context on the street, unlike the car show, I now feel.............................that they're uglier than last generation, bummer, that puts me back on wanting a 2013 GT500 discounted by desperate dealers in two years. But please! without sequential turn lights (not allowed over here) or at least optional...

My friend just picked up a GT today. I have to say, I still like my front better, but those tail lights were sweet in person. It was pouring rain, so I didn't get to take it out, but he's a happy camper right now.

Since seeing the 2013 tail lights I have been all over the web trying to find out information of when a conversion kit will be available. They look so sick. I thought I came across something on the Team Shelby site, but they were just 05-09 style with a backup light at the bottom, looked like a wide, short triangle. Different, but not anything close to the 2013's.
Hoping to open AM's online store one day soon and see them listed under new "hot" products.

2013 tailights
lived with the tail end. Now thats there is something a little more tolerable, I would like to convert over (if they become availble). But do not like it enough to trade up to a 13 (and they cost too much). I'll hold out till the 15's come out, if anything
Anyone seen the new Mustang commercial (avail on you tube), pretty neat.

Yes but those are two different issues. The look of the 2010 tail lights tapering to the outside is one thing, but the ugly plastic baby diaper rear diffuser/facia area was what I didn't like. I like the 2013 tail lights even less than the 2010 design. The taper and the multi strand in lens design to me make it look like it's being cute of goofy, not tough or cool. The performance is better than ever out of the box though. Erik
