Default Good Deals?

Thinking about trading my 11 for a 12.As sweet as the 13's are i'm not really digging all the body changes on the 13 plus the 12's are way cheaper it seems.it took awhile for the 11's tail lights to grow on me. I am just not enjoying this black at all and hoping a new color will be easier to maintain so as not to show every little blemish.I'm just to ocd for a black car,I'd rather spend more time driving than cleaning .

I looked for like 3 months for 1st choice kona blue, second choice candy red, when I bought my 11.I looked as far away as 300 miles. Indy,Chicago,Milwaukee, everyone had black unless I wanted a v6.So I settled for black, nothing looks better when its all clean but you have to look fast!Lol
So I found a 12 in candy red in chicago.Msrp is 35674,salesman says he will let it go for 33440,which according to Edmunds is about 500 over invoice. Then Ford has 2500 dollar incentive plus extra 750 trade allowance. So car going to be 30490 minus my trade. What would you guys think I could get for my 11?8k miles 19" American racing wheels which I hope they swap,6sp ft premium.it is spotless, garage kept no winter drives.Edmunds says mid 27,does that sound close? I was thinking 25 til I saw that.I don't have a lot of other options comfort pkg 19's and scoop pedestal spoiler.gonna miss my scoop if I go through with this.My msrp on the 11 was around 37ish,I was going to use my xplan pricing then but they beat the xplan price by just a little.
Anyone have any advice for me?

If you got the means, go for it! I personally think trading in for a different color is a huge unnecessary financial hit.

I was looking at trading my '12 Premium with 11k miles in on a '13 GT500 and they told me they'd only give me $25,000 for mine.

You guys are probably right, sometimes i just get on a tangent and can't seem to let go.If they are only offering you 25k,best i could hope for would be 23k and that won't cut it.I guess it never costs anything to ask though.I really do love my car and would have no problem walking away from a bad deal.
Maybe if i could find out how much of a hit i would take,I could use that to just repaint

Kinda of a waste just to change colors. For me, it doesn't matter what color the car is, I notice every scratch/ding. Can't fight it.

'10 to '11-'12 would be a different story though.

OP, you already got an '11, no need to go to a '12 just for color. Stick with it dude! A color change really isn't worth it at all. And I would've killed for a black where I lived. There were ZEROOO around here Mod it up a little and you'll just fall in love with the blacked out look if you want to go for that xD

You can super charge your current baby for the money you would lose on the trade....well, almost. Did you consider that? Good luck...

Thanks everyone for talking me off the ledge! I have decided that I am going to spend the money i was going to throw away,on some mods.I need to get it a little lower and new tires/wheels should satisfy.
Guess a good common sense slap in the noggin is all i needed.

You should do a vinyl wrap! They're much cheaper than painting, and definitely much cheaper than trading your car. There are so many colors and choices you can choose for them. That way, it can be EXACTLY as you like, and the shop near my house offers a lifetime warranty where if it starts to fade, free and instant replacement
