Default Too much....gray?

Hello all,
I just purchased a new sterling gray 2013 V6 w/ the MCA package. I love the look, but would be interested in hearing from others on whether I should eventually purchase some matte black wheels or if the current setup looks reasonably nice. I love having more of a "stealth" look over the race car look, which kind of helped in my purchase. Do you see too much gray?

By the way, the only difference between the car in the pics and mine is that mine will be tinted 32% all windows except the front windshield (that's the legal limit in GA). That will possibly add some more black to the car, which might balance out nicely.

I have the same color but a GT with the track pack so the wheels are also gray like the car, i personally love it. Maybe try some plasti-dip on your wheels to get a feel for it and see if it is what you like. Also, maybe try it on the grill as well?

Not sure what plasti-dip is, but just thought of another idea: photoshopping black wheels onto it?

I wish all of them had it. Unfortunately, that's not the case.

I like that look, although I have seen some sexy rides with black rims. Tough choice.

It's funny...that's pretty similar to everyone's response. "That look is nice, but so are black rims." At the end of the day, both look great, I suppose. There isn't one combo that looks more out of place from another. I appreciate the input.

Love those wheels, but think matte black will look nicer.

Easy. Plasti Dip them. Here is a video... you'll need about 4 cans at ~$6 each. You can buy from Home Depot or Lowes. So easy you can't possibly mess up and you can easily peel off if you don't like it.

Do itttt!

ok, i'll chime in...i own a 2012 GT in SGM

Accent Colors that will work with SGM (personal opinion)

Matte Black
Matte Grey
Red
copper
gold
silver
argent
purple

White i think is too distracting
gloss black is ok, but i think the flat colors work better with the paint fleck since you are looking to contrast the base color vs. drawing too much attention to a secondary color

I love the way the matte black breaks it up, plus at twilight when it starts to change color the matte black starts to blend in a little more

as far as the wheels go, well...i had a hard time finding anything that i really liked.
ended up going with the Shelby CS70's in Matte Black and couldn't be happier...totally made the car and it's a not very common wheel
Check out Wheel Replicas or Cruizin Concepts to get some ideas.
I was pretty set on an all matte black wheel to contrast the color and mesh with the side moulding.

pics of my pony =)

Beautiful car, OP.
The only thing I see is the front needs some black to balance out all the black on the rear end. Maybe have your front grilles painted or powder coated black?
