Well the Stang bagged its first deer yesterday..
Just finished playing 18 with a buddy of mine on a course out on a state park, its dark by now. 1 mile long stretch of road commonly referred to as 'the gauntlet' by the Rangers and I clipped the tail end of a medium sized doe. It ran out in front of a car going the opposite direction so I didn't see it until the very last second. The damage could have been a lot worse.. The light and fender definitely need to be replaced, the hood can probably be straightened out. How much do you think the final cost will be?

probably a couple hundred, but make sure its a reputable place. and i feel you man, i hate to see any stang get in this situation. I personally would be absolutely heartbroken. But im sure everything will be taken care of, youre right it could have been alot worse. At least no one got hurt

I hit a deer with my 07 Gt and it cost over $5000 to fix it, but I had the body shop install a Cervini cowl induction hood (same price as the factory hood with hood scoop) instead of the factory hood, they also had to replace my front bumper, CDC Chin spoiler and Eleanor style grill on the car and put new stripes on the hood, front bumper and chin spoiler.

Will your insurance cover it? if so like tormentor said you could get some cool stuff out of it. most aftermarket parts are the same price or cheaper than factory. Like you bumper and grill and maybe your hood.

Definitely file a claim with your insurance. Looks like a new hood, new fender, new light, and maybe a new bumper cover. The OEM light alone is more than a few hundred.
I hate to see stuff like this, but sometimes it turns into a nice way to mod for a few dollars less than just dishing it out...like I did.
Good luck & glad you are okay...
