Actually, the tape work isn't that hard. I did mine from start to finish in about 45 minutes. That's from a freshly waxed hood to a super snake style stripe taped and sprayed and done.

The wheels on the other hand took an hour each.

 

Man, this is freaking sweet. Those joints looks super clean......well done.

 

And if anyone was curious about the durability of Plastidip.

The paint on the wheels is about a month old and shows no signs of wear.

The stripe on the hood is only 2 weeks old, but I just got out and waxed the hood AND THE STRIPE. It is fine and I had to get some bug guts off the stripe. It help up with no problems.

 

Well the stripes were removed, for now.....Like I said they were "Temporary"!!
Washed the car the other day and they stayed on without any problems, but when your ready to remove them they come off super easy!

I "Might" be getting them painted on sometime around Christmas wen I get my new hood! Or I may leave it White, still undecided!
Last weekend at Mustang Week I looked everywhere for 2010+ aftermarket hoods....only found 5 cars that had them!

So I have finally decided to go with the Cervinis CobraR hood...Photoshop below:

 

That is one nice looking car with or without the stripe.

I vote no stripes. You have plenty of other "blackccents" (window tint, reflector tint, facia, etc...).

That CobraR hood will look good.
