Default Powder coated mufflers?

I have almost blacked out my car with exception of the wheels. I am getting the trunk shaved to remove the emblem and thinking about powder coating the mufflers. Has anyone done this? pix?

Never powder coated. I always use the flat black grill paint on them.

After a good bit of thought, I ordered the black powder coated Pype Bombs from American Muscle. Couldn't be happier; they're awesome! Definitely not something you see every day.

Talked to my brother who works at a welding shop. He said his boss said to bring them in and he will throw in with his next batch and do it for free

Now - driving without mufflers LOL

Since powder coating those tips is gonna be free for you, i would say powder coat the rims ;p unless you have plans for new wheels of course!

My brother told me I have to give the guy $50 to put in with his order lol. I plan to powder coat them eventually, but going with these wheels once lowered.

just so you dont pop up that faux gas cap off and be really disappointed - underneath it, the metal shape actually forms to it and bulges outwards. it is NOT a simply shave job to say the least.. : |
