Very cool!
I put a Goodmark cowl hood on my '00 GMC Z71 and it really popped.

Nice!! I put mine on 3 weeks ago....

Watch the corners on yours.... mine seem to lift overnight, then during the day, in the sun they tighten right back up. Must be something to do with the aluminum hood and temperature changes! Keep an eye on yours and let me know!

Im glad everyone likes it. I really want to do the stripe but i am afraid it will look a little busy once its all there. One guy on AMs pics for the scoop has both spears and supersnake stripe and it looks pretty good. Konablue v6: i was driving the other day and thought, "what of this just flew off my hood right now" lol

Hey Tommy..... you notice any time the hood corners rising? Here's some pics of the car at rest.... early morning the scoop sits fine, in the sun for awhile and the corners pop up....

Looks like the double sided tape is not holding.

Yeah, did you use any adhesion promoter on the tape before putting the scoop down?

That adhesion promoter really makes a difference in terms of how strongly the 3M tape bonds.

I'd take it off and redo it. You can buy extra 3M automotive tape at the auto parts store. It's like $5 bucks.

Make sure you re-apply the hood scoop in warm weather (70+ degrees) and do not drive your car for at least 24 hours after putting the scoop on.

Also, when you put the scoop on, apply a lot of pressure to where the tape is sealing to the car, and do that for a while after installation. By continually applying pressure to the tape after you've laid the hood scoop down, it'll help strengthen the bond.

Not sure if that was intentional, but the first pic, with the American Flag in the reflection, is priceless.

Did you drill holes also or is yours just stuck on with 3M tape? Mine came from the factory and has a bazillion pins and tabs. I'm certainly not experiencing any lift of the scoop. I hope you can get it sorted bud.
