Speed up sequential lights
Whats up guys, does anyone know if theres a way to speed up 2010+ sequential lights? I drove past a 2005-2009 stang with sequential lights that just looked amazing. It looked more fluid then the 2010+ style, I loved it.
Factory is slower than after market.....there is your difference plus brake differences. I don't even think anyone makes one to fit the 10+ cars. It is most likely controlled by the computer where the after market units have the controller built into the wiring.
^^Agree. I like them better than mine..

..Nope. CAN-BUS, so technically someone "could" make the encrypted write for a tuner(or had the VCM/IDS tool with appropriate software) if it was in fact adjustable, but I'm pretty sure it's on a set timer circuit. It's just getting the CAN-BUS signal to fire off the timer circuit(s) in the BCM-B for either side.

When the multifunction switch is in the LH or RH TURN POSITION, the SJB turns the appropriate front turn lamps on/off and the BCM-B sequentially flashes the corresponding rear lamps beginning with the inboard lamp and ending with the outboard lamp.

strange thread...when I see 05-09's with sequentials, it's obvious to me they are aftermarket because they look a bit choppy.
you may want to check the lubricating fluid levels on your stock taillights. they might be low.

For newer cars such as ours, and even the new edges I believe, but only because it's detecting a problem since the controller (SJB or BCM) is looking for draw on the line to tell if the bulb has gone out or not.
When it does this super-fast flash, it's not functioning correctly if at all, it's doing this to let you know there's an issue, nothing more. Which is why all of the after-market ones sold either have some resistance circuit built into it, or you need to buy one for it to function right.

Do you use synthetic or conventional lube in your taillights?
