Those of you with clean bodies, are you considering striping the car or leaving it as is? I was going to have a stripe down Shelby Style, but changed my mind. This is my 2nd SGM Mustang and they just look so good clean it is hard for me make a final decision on stripes.

Just a little fun fact..... If it not for mother nature there wouldn't be sterling gray 2012+ Mustangs. SG was canceled at the end of the '11 model year. After the Japan Tsunami the new for 2012 color Lava Red was no longer available (from Japan) so SG was brought back mid '12 model year production which might just make Lava Red the rarest color on any late model Mustang.

^That is an interesting fact. And I kinda wish they didnt bring it back as it is my favorite gray that Ford ever made so it would be cooler if it was a limited run (if that makes sense). Ill post pics this weekend. Raining here at the moment.

I'm planning on doing a matte black super snake stripe and rocker stripes. The clean look is nice but I feel like something's missing every time I look at mine...seems a bit plain.

Wish I would have known that in late 11 when I bought my Black 12, they had a Lava Red and I could have owned a rare color.

I keep looking at this and really want to do it in a color close to red candy, then I go the other way again

I don't think I would do the red... if I do stripes I would go a black metallic.

But, after I think I am ready to pull the trigger I keep looking at how clean my baby is and think, WTF do I want to spend $1500 on having stripes painted on. It isn't the money... I am not worried about value... I just can't make up my mind on it.

Ken, I think that would be awesome if you find the right color. Gonna go paint or vinyl?
