Do you mind sharing what materials were required for the dash badge and how you made it?

A 24 inch ruler, a micrometer, a CNC die cutter (a whole lot of prototyping with paper - the 'MUSTANG' font is really a custom drawing I made and it is also used, though scaled larger, on the rear deck lid), styrene, chrome-like tape, epoxy and Super 77.

In that order.

I'm like the interior mods the best. Good job on all of it.

So it's not real chrome? Looks great nonetheless

Default Time to put the Mustang mods down -- for a little while

I've been getting my house ready to sell so we can move. I had prototyped the sill plates. They look great. But the styrene I ordered came in incorrectly. I guess the guy selling the stuff doesn't own a micrometer. There just won't be enough time to get the right stuff in before we leave. I was hoping to produce 10 or 20 dash plates for you all. That'll have to wait. (yup: I'm getting rid of everything... except my MBPs and my die cutter!)

My daughters and I are hitting the road in the Mustang to see what we can from Plymouth Rock and the Statue of Liberty to the surf in California (that means we're look at the in-between stuff with emphasis on everything in-between!) It'll be hell on my back, but worth it. I can't see turning over the keys to a car without them knowing how to drive, nor can I see turning over the keys to the country without them knowing a little something about that too. We all know what they teach you in school, whether it is about driving or otherwise, doesn't always align with... reality.

hm. I just read a story that says more dads are choosing to, "stay at home." Screw that.

Semper fi, all.
